LCSD BOE seeks community volunteers for superintendent search

— The Liverpool Board of Education is seeking volunteers to serve on a Community Advisory Committee to assist the Board in its search for a new superintendent of schools.

The board is looking to create a balanced group that represents the many aspects of the Liverpool community.

Volunteers would need to be available to meet at 5 p.m. on all of the following dates: Feb. 26, April 9, April 29, April 30 and May 1.

Dr. Lucy Martin and Dr. William Silky, of Castallo & Silky, are the education consultants that the district has hired to help facilitate the search process. Your role in the process will be clearly explained in your first meeting with the consultants.

Please send your name, e-mail address and phone number to Meghan Piper at MPiper@liverpool.k12.ny.us. Please include the names of any community groups you are associated with (such as local government, business, church or religious organization, realty group, non-profit organization, service organization, senior citizen or taxpayer) by Feb. 15 to let her know if you are willing to participate.
